Destiny 2 Solstice of Heroes 2020 – How to hunt for treasure and all chest locations

Find all of the chests before time runs out.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

It’s time to prove yourself Guardian. Destiny 2’s Solstice of Heroes 2020 event has begun, and with it, a new armor set for you to obtain for your Warlock, Titan, and Hunter. You have to participate in the daily events to upgrade your armor. The new event takes you to the EAZ, where you take on a wave of bosses, and then fight a final boss. After clearing the final boss with your squad, there are an array of chests that spawn on the map based on your performance. You need to find them to receive their benefits, and if you don’t, they disappear, and there’s a time limit.

After you open the chest that drops at the boss, an array of chests become available on the map. You see how many chests are available on your UI, and shortly after you open the boss chest, there are chest icons showing you where you need to go to find the rest of them. They disappear a few seconds after they show up, and you have to find them all to receive all of the bonuses before the timer runs out. If you don’t, you miss out on those key fragments and may not reach your daily total because of it.

Last year, redditor hulumulu0451 created a map of all the chest locations on the EAZ map. You can reference the map they made to make sure you investigate all of these locations before the chests poof. More bosses you take down before fighting the big one at the end of the EAZ mode, the more chests you receive. Hulumulu0451’s map also includes locations to the prismatic taken spawn that show up during the fight, which you should visit.
