Rocket League was just released for free on the Epic Games store, opening up the high-intensity vehicular soccer action to all PC gamers. After picking up this game you may be wondering if you can join up with your friends who might already have it on the Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and the Nintendo Switch.
Thankfully, Rocket League allows cross-platform gameplay. Although it was not supported at launch, you can queue up with your friends from all of these different platforms with ease. All you have to do is add your friends’ Rocket ID and you can be connected with any player on any PC or console.
Rocket League supports matches of 2 to 8 players in local or online games. The cross-play feature lets players build their skill pool with players from all different platforms. While this not only allows friends on different consoles to connect with each other, it also keeps the community alive with all kinds of gamers.
