Everything we know about Bunny Day in Animal Crossing: New Horizons and when it starts

When can you hop to it in the Bunny Day event?
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

During Nintendo’s Direct Mini on March 26, we learned about the upcoming event in Animal Crossing: New Horizons called Bunny Day. It will feature a bunny named Zipper T. Bunny, who was going to visit your island. The Bunny Day event is meant to celebrate Easter in April. The Direct Mini gave us a small highlight of what we could expect when the event launches.

When Zipper arrives at your island, you would have to speak to him about finding eggs he’s hidden all over the area. You can find them in buried locations where you would retrieve artifacts, and you could potentially reel them in if you were attempting to fish in the ocean or one of the rivers on your island. Some of the eggs will possibly grow on a handful of your trees on your island. These are the three notable locations we’re going to be able to locate eggs, but there could be more when the event goes live.

During this time, we’ll also be able to purchase event-exclusive items, such as event-themed furniture pieces and clothing items you can only earn during this event. You can craft a themed archway, baskets, tables, and much more. You have to complete them during this event, or you won’t have access to them again.

The Bunny Day event starts on Apr. 1 and goes until the 12. To access this event, you want to make sure you connect your Nintendo Switch to the internet when it goes live, and Zipper T. Bunny will show up in your game when he’s supposed to appear. You need to have all of the patches available in the game to gain access to this content. It’s free, so you don’t need to pay for anything.
