FIFA 21: What is the release date for the Team of the Year (TOTY)?

Back on January 7, EA Sports unveiled the nominees for the 2020 Team of the Year (TOTY). Additionally, fan voting for the TOTY began, and FIFA players had until January 18 to submit their picks for the top players of 2020. Now that the voting stage has come and gone, EA Sports has now told players when to expect TOTY player items to go live in Football Ultimate Team.

EA Sports has confirmed that the release date for the FIFA 21 Team of the Year promo is January 22. Traditionally, EA Sports and the FIFA devs like to launch, in most circumstances, Player of the Month Squad Building Challenges on Fridays, so it does make some degree of sense that the Team of the Year promo would also begin on a Friday.

If you haven’t already, make sure you have begun to get yourself situated for the Team of the Year. Otherwise, you might be left scrambling once the 22nd comes.
