Fortnite is back, bringing map changes, a new Battle Pass, and lots of new things to see and do. This also means all new challenges, and a few minor changes to how challenges reward XP this season.
The epic quests are now worth 24,000 XP each, while the Legendary is worth 35,000 for the first step, and 24,500 XP for each of the next four steps. That’s a lot of XP up for grabs each week, so make sure you get all your challenges completed.
- Craft a Mechanical Bow, a Mechanical Explosive Bow, and a Mechanical Shockwave Bow
- Tame a boar
- Deal damage with Mechanical weapons
- Deal explosive damage to opponents
- Ride different ziplines
- Obtain literature samples from Pleasant Park, Lazy Lake, or Retail Row
- Get a headshot with a bow
- Deal damage with bows
Week two will have us tinkering with bows, which means we will need to farm up plenty of resources from animals and vehicles alike. We will also need to tame a boar, which sounds easier said that done, but at least the boar won’t bite us.
Explosives and mechanical weapons will be in fashion, as will zipping around on zip lines, desperately hoping not to get headshot. There will be literature up for grabs for the well read Fortnite players, and also we will need to get headshots with bows.
