The Fortnite Season 5 Week 9 challenges are here and if you’re struggling with completing them, here’s a handy cheat sheet for every single challenge.
It’s the penultimate week for Fortnite Season 5 and the challenges are finally out, one day later than expected. As always, there’s seven you need to complete and they range from searching chests at various locations to eliminating opponents elsewhere and this time, you need to land some stunts in an ATK or trolley. Check out the full list of challenges below:
- Deal damage with Explosive Weapons to opponents (0/500)
- Get Trick Points in a Shopping Cart or ATK (0/150,000)
- Follow the treasure map found in Shifty Shafts
- Stage 1: Search a Chest in Haunted Hills
- Stage 2: Shifty Shafts
- Stage 3: Lazy Links
- Stage 4: Tilted Towers
- Stage 5: Risky Reels
- Visit different Stone Heads (0/7)
- Assault Rifle Eliminations (0/5)
- Eliminate opponents in Tomato Temple (0/3)
Thankfully, Epic have brought back the tiered chest searches so there won’t be one location that is chock full of players every single game. If you’re struggling with any single one of these challenges, check out this wonderful cheat sheet.
If you can’t quite make it out, the treasure is on a lower part of the enormous mountain north of Salty Springs. There’s also a free banner you can grab from below the orange bridge near Shifty Shafts, hinted at by this week’s Road Trip loading screen. Finally, this cheat sheet includes all the possible ATK spawns too so you don’t need to go traipsing around in the hopes you stumble upon one.
Explosive damage to opponents is relatively easy, just make sure you hang on to your grenades and remote explosive and carry as many as possible. Once you get into a fight, spam them and you’ll complete the challenge in no time. The burst assault rifle also got an accuracy buff in yesterday’s patch, so killing five opponents with one should be as easy as ever. All challenges can be completed in the new Getaway LTM too, so you can complete those mode-specific challenges while you’re at it.
