Ghost Recon Breakpoint allows players to stand out amongst other Ghost agents they team up within the game. Players are going to have the chance to check out the character customization at the beginning of the game, but there are additional options. You can find these later on in the game. No, you do not need to make a new character to take advantage of them. You can make these changes in the game.

How to Customize Your Character in Ghost Recon Breakpoint

You cannot customize all aspects of your character from this menu. You’re going to receive a handful of limited options, but they’re going to be the most notable and recognizable ones. To get to this portion of the menu, you’re going to want to go to the main menu and then locate the customize option. You can distinguish this section by the t-shirt icon on the upper portion of your list.

When you get there, you’re going to see numerous options. You can change your character’s hairstyle, but males can also modify their facial hair. Females are not going to be able to remove or add any due to them not having any options. Below these are going to be more visual changes you can play around with during your campaign.

In the lower portion, you’re going to have the opportunity to change out scars on your character’s face. You can also add face paint and tattoos to both arms. These tattoos are massive, generally running up the entirety of the character’s forearm up to their shoulders. The face paint can be a bit of fun, especially if you want it to look like your character is attempting to use it to assist in their overall camouflage.

You can choose the armor your character is wearing, the headgear, backpack, shirt, pants, and anything else you’ve picked up. You can wear some of your favorite pieces, and continue to add on any other gear pieces you find. Even if you pick up a new vest, you can wear the one you picked up earlier, even if it has worse stats. If you had it set in the Customize Character option, and it’s going to stay there. This option is great if you find a hat you like, too.

You can have up to five different versions of your character, too. If you go to the right-hand section in the customization menu, you can create defaults of your character and cycle through these whenever your mood changes. You can do this to create a default look for your character. Feel free to have different camouflage patterns on your character’s face and cycle through the options depending on the environment they are going to fight the enemy.
