There are numerous ways by which Grand Theft Auto V players can level up their skills, however the easiest and fastest way to do it has been listed below.
For those who are unaware of, Skills in GTA V are unique stats of our three beloved characters “Michael, Trevor and Franklin”. In total there are eight categories of skills in GTA V. Check out the below guide detailing how to level up fastest/easiest way:
Stamina:
Run, Sprint, Cycle, Swim, basically just keep moving (but be FAST in moving) and this skill will grow, but don’t expect it to grow fast. This skill is increased by 1% for every 17 meters (18 yards) ran, every minute swam, every minute cycled. To best way to increase this skill is to participate in Triathlons.
Another way to level up this skill is, Mash A Button (on Xbox 360) or X Button (on PS3) while you are on foot or on bicycle or swimming or driving.
Shooting:
Shooting Range Challenges is probably the fastest and easiest way to improve shooting skills. It also increase quickly by scoring headshot and more. Furthermore, if player complete every Gold Challenge, Shooting skill is increased by 3%, it increases by 2% for every Silver Challenge complete and 1% for every Bronze challenge complete.
Strength:
To level up strength skill we recommend you to play Sports like Golf, Tennis, Darts and others. For every 20 punches players blow, Strength skill is increase by 1%, however visiting gyms and working out with improve this skill faster than punching every other alternate NPCs.
Stealth:
In Stealth Mode every 45 meters walked increases this skill by 1%, and it get increased by 1.5% for every two stealth kills. Now here is the best way to improve this Stealth skill, go to a quite steep hill and stealth down. Please note that player will walk faster downhill in Stealth and so you will cover more ground in less time which indirectly improve Stealth skill.
Another way, in Stealth Mode, tie a piece of String around player’s left stick and leave it as it is atleast for 40 mins. Check back again and you will be surprise to see Stealth skill at 100% mark.
Flying:
Flying Aircraft, Jet or other such things for 10 minutes increases this skill by 1%. Furthermore, completing following listed task at Flying School, at the Los Santos airport, also increases Flying Skill of players: NOTE: Completing Task with Gold increase this skill by 3%, Silver by 2% and Bronze by 1%
- Training take off
- Runway landing
- Inverted flight
- Knife flight
- Flat hatting
- Loop the loop
- Sky diving
- Drop zone
Here are list by task which when completing at Flying School with Gold status increases this skill by 5% for Gold, 3% for Silver and 2% for Bronze

Driving:
The best way to improve this skill is by performing Stunt Jumps with Four-wheel vehicle and a perfect landing while performing a stunts gives maxing increase to this skill.
Increase this skill is pretty easy for Wheelie lover as it increases by 1% for every 10 seconds of wheelie action and an additional 1% for every second spent in the air. Another way by which this skill increases is by driving over uneven terrain roads.
Lung Capcity:
To increase this skill player need to perform certain action underwater for example Lung Capcity skill increase by mere 1% for every minute spent underwater. Swiming underwater with diving suit ON also increase Lung capacity skills.
Special Ability:
Listed below are the details about special ability of all our three lead characters i.e Michael, Trevor and Franklin
Michael:
The special ability of Michael is increased by scoring headshots, executing stealth takedowns, doing yoga sessions, and going-on in a high speeds in vehicles as Michael.
Franklin:
The easiest way to increase Franklin special ability is to drive against the flow of traffic, narrowly avoiding collisions, and going-on in a high speeds in vehicles as Franklin.
Trevor:
The fastest way to increase skills of Trevor is to perform things that will make him furious like taking damage, falling over, running into pedestrians, getting hit by vehicles on the road, killing enemies, scoring headshots.
