How do starter kits work in Tribes of Midgard?

Bring some gear with you from Valhalla.

When you load up your world in Tribes of Midgard, your character was brought down from Valhalla to protect the Seed of Yggdrasil at the center of the village. They typically start with nothing and have to gather up as many basic supplies around them to begin crafting weapons, armor, and tools to develop sturdy defenses to protect against the forces of Ragnarök on the way. If you want to start the game with a bit more of an advantage, you can use a starter kit. This guide details how starter kits work in Tribes of Midgard and what you can do with them.

The starter kit provides several starting items for your character when they start a world, rather than having them begin with absolutely nothing. The kits can give you a full range of beginning armor and weapons, tools, runes, or items that make it easier to withstand some of the elemental enemies you’re going to be fighting. How you want to start the game is up to you.

For those who prefer to rush straight for resources and bring them back to their village, the harvester starter kit is a good choice. Alternatively, the village starter kit gives you a beginning sword, shield, and armor that you immediately wear to defeat to tackle some of the tougher beginning foes.

The choice is yours. You have the option to change your starter kit by going to the customize tab on the main menu. Starting with these kits does not use them up. These kits are yours forever, and you can acquire more of them by progressing through the Season Rewards in Tribes of Midgard.
