How does Dynite Ore work in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra

Dynite Ore is a new item you can turn in and use in Crown Tundra.

Dynite Ore is the new item you need to collect in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra adventure. These are items you need to collect to capture any of the Pokémon you encounter in a Dynamax Adventure, which features you and a team of three other trainers working together to dive into a Dynamax Den to capture a legendary Pokémon. You can only keep one Pokémon you’ve caught following the adventure’s completion, and Dynite Ore is the item you use to keep them. But you can also turn Ore in for a variety of useful items.

When you start the Crown Tundra DLC in Pokémon Sword and Shield, you have the chance to jump into your first Dynamax Adventure. As you make your way through the dungeon with your companions, even if you successfully beat the adventure or not, you receive Dynite Ore for your troubles. It works similarly to the Armorite Ore you received while visiting the Isle of Armor.

After you complete your Dynamax Adventure, take your Dynite Ore to the collector. You can find them next to the scientist inside the entrance of the Dynamax Max cave, on the right side of the room. Speak to them, and they will have a variety of items available for you to choose from and add to your collection. These items include Dynamax Candies, mints, Exp. Candies, wishing pieces, bottle caps, and more. Make sure to check them out once you’ve acquired enough Dynite Ore from your next Dynamax Adventures.
