Saving your game in Deadly Premonition 2 is a little strange, as you need to do it at telephones that are spread liberally throughout the game. You can find telephones in most places of business, and the game will often provide one in the strangest of circumstances to give you a chance to save your progress before proceeding into a dangerous area.

The telephones will be marked by exclamation points, so will be very easy to see. When you want to save, just walk up to the telephone and interact with it by hitting the A button. Select the data slot you want to save to, and then hit the A button again to save.

As you travel around the game world, you will notice that there are phones pretty much everywhere, so you should never be too far away from one, which is a bit of a blessing. They can even show up in some areas that we will avoid the specifics off, so we don’t spoil anything for you. Let’s just say that if you are in a weird location, and you see a phone, you should definitely save your game.
