Does the campaign have co-op?
That’s a big no. The campaign in Cold War does not have a co-op feature, so you won’t be able to play with your friend. But that’s not the game’s main appeal, especially if you want to play with a friend, so it’s not the worst thing in the world.
Does the zombie mode have co-op?
Previously, there were issues with the zombies mode where players were unable to use the co-op feature. However, that has been changed since Cold War’s initial launch, and players can now enjoy this feature with their friends. It makes sense to have this be a priority as zombies without a good, reliable friend watching your back can be a little tiring.
For PlayStation players, they’ll also be able to play the new zombie onslaught mode. It’ll have a two-player experience, and it does have co-op, again, online.
Does multiplayer have co-op?
The versus multiplayer mode appears to have this feature, so feel free to explore it with your friend and jump into a few games.
While the singleplayer portion of the game only always for one person, the other modes allow for couch co-op.
