How to catch a Pineantula in Bugsnax

Don't put it on a pizza.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

To get Wiggle to come back to town, you will need to catch a Pineantula for her so she can sport a groovy new hairstyle. Catch these can be just a little awkward and might take some trial and error. To find them, walk down the beach and you will see them crawling around under the sand with their green tops sticking out. They won’t come out if you walk close to them, so you’ll need to do some scanning to figure out what to do.

Scan them and you will find out that they are afraid of Crapples. Thankfully, there will be a Crapple close by in a little pile of sticks that they call home. Set up your Snak Trap close to the Crabbles home, then hit the Pineantula with some chocolate from your Sauce Slinger.

The Crapple will run out of its house and dig up the Pineantula, trying to take it back home. When it walks into the area of the trap, activate it to catch both Bugsnax at the same time. As we said, this can take some trial and error, so don’t get too frustrated if it doesn’t work perfectly the first time.

Sometimes the Crapple will drop the Pineantula before it gets back to its house, so experiment with where you are putting the Snak Trap and you will eventually get them both. After that, go back to Wiggle and feed her the Pineantula, then change her hair into Pineantula hair and you can move on to the next step.
