During your adventure through Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, you as Eivor will come across many altars where you can leave offerings. Each one requires its own unique offering, such as the Wroeken Offering Altar, found in Sciropescire, northwest of Wenlocan Abbey.
This altar asks you to leave five small Brown Trout at the Altar. It sounds simple enough, but brown trout can be a little tricky to find, as there is only one specific area that you can find them. Luckily, we know where that is and what you can do to make the entire experience easier.
Build the Fisherman’s Hut
The first thing you will want to do is make sure that you have built the Fisherman’s Hut in Ravensthorpe. Once this has been built, you will get a fishing rod which makes this entire process much easier.
You could hunt the fish with your bow, but that makes it much more difficult than it needs to be.
Find the brown trout
With your fishing rod in hand, head to the city of Oxenaforda in Oxenefordscire. You will want to find a small boat that you can take out on the water and begin rowing out to the west, across the Thames. Keep rowing until you reach an area called Devil’s Quoits, just a little bit up the river.
Out here, you will find many schools of fish, along with bigger, solitary fish. The small brown trout are among the schools of fish, so aim for those rather than the bigger fish.
Catch the small brown trout
Unfortunately, there’s no real, strict process to adhere to for this; you are just going to have to keep at it until you have five of the fish in your possession. The small brown trout are plentiful, though, and it shouldn’t take you too long to get five in your inventory.
Once you have them, just head back to the altar and offer them. This will complete the Mystery and nab you some Skill Points as well.
