The popularity of F1 continues to grow throughout the world. More countries than ever are tuning in to watch the likes of Lewis Hamilton and Sebastien Vettel battle it out for the individual driver’s championships and the constructors championship for their favorite team with the most points.
With the season shorted due to countries pulling out of the schedule over fears to public safety with COVID-19, this means that more people than ever will look to get the most out of the official F1 2020 game, especially in this year’s version with the advent of the new My Team career mode that allows players to make and manage their own team.
Those that are looking to play in their own language will find that you cannot change the language used in-game, at least on the PC version of the game. There are audio and game settings that will allow you to adjust the subtitles’ language, but it will be locked at the original language of the region with which the game is installed, or it will default to English on the Steam version of the game.
However, the game does support many languages. To change the language of the in-game text, bring up your steam library, and find the tab with F1 2020 installed. Right-click on it, and head to properties. Click on the Languages tab, and from here, you can choose the language with which the game launches.
The list of supported languages is below:
- English
- German
- French
- ItalianÂ
- Spanish (Spain dialect)
- Simplified Chinese
- Russian
- Japanese
- Polish
- Dutch
- Portugese (Brazil dialect)
