How to change World Tier in Outriders

It gets scary out there.

Difficulty in Outriders is dicated by World Tier. This denotes how tough enemies are, how much damage they do, and how hard they are to kill. The higher the World Tier, the stiffer the challenge, but to balance this out you also get better loot drops from all loot sources.

By default, Outriders is set up to automatically increase the World Tier to the highest one available, keeping the challenge high. Sometimes, you might run into a brick wall of a fight and need to make some changes, however.

How to change World Tier

Changing World Tier is quite simple. Open the main menu, then click on the world Tier button. In the next screen you will see a list of all available World Tiers you have unlock, as well as their rating based on your current gear and level. Select the one you wish to play at, then simply start playing again.

The change is automatic, you do not need to restart the game. If you look at the bottom of the World Tier screen, you will also see a prompted button that will allow you to switch off the automatic increasing of the World Tier, giving you complete control over how difficult the game is.

It should be noted, the difficulty will also scale with player count, outside of the World Tier setting, so if you are playing with friends you can expect things to be a little tougher than if you were playing along.
