The Well Done Challenge is the first Far Cry 5 in game event. Events will give players specific challenges, and reward them with Silver Bars and loot. The first challenge is from Hurk, who seems to be doubting our ability to lay waste to the wildlife you can find in game. The event has two aspects, the community goal and then an individual player goal.

The twist is that you cannot use flamethrowers or molotovs to generate these crispy critters. This first event will run from April 3 until April 10, so there is plenty of time to set fire to the fauna.

Well Done Challenge

Not being able to use molotovs or flamethrowers makes this interesting, but there are plenty of ways to generate fire in the game. The first thing you need to do is accept the challenge. To do this, load up your game and then go to the menu. Go to the tab for Online play, then select the Live Events section. Here you will find information about the current event. You can accept the quest, then just go back to your game to start working on it.

The weapons that will help you out with this quest include:

Incendiary Arrows – Bows can fire flaming arrows, perfect for silently taking out some animals.

Shotguns with Incendiary Shells – these pack the usual punch of a shotgun, and set things on fire. That’s quite the double whammy.

Blowtorch – Fleet footed players will be able to set things alight with the blowtorch, although that feels strangely cruel.

Cluster Bombs – some planes in the game drop cluster bombs. While it may seem like overkill, it is also incredibly fun.

You can keep track of your person progress on the Live Events screen. It is also possible to track community progress from here. More Live Events are planned for the game, but as yet we have no idea what they might entail. Keep an eye on the site for further updates, and if you need help with any other aspect of Far Cry 5, be sure to check out our Guide Hub.
