How to complete Inner Lair – The Nursery in Back 4 Blood Tunnels of Terror

Fight for all you want.

While combing through the Ridden Hives in Back 4 Blood Tunnels of Terror, you can occasionally come across another passageway to take you to the Inner Lair. This area will have more Ridden than the level you were already on but will also provide more weapons, attachments, and cards for you to grab. Here is how to complete Inner Lair: The Nursery.

When you arrive at The Nursery, slide down into the main area, and you will find a cavern with a lot of passageways blocked off by webbing and a big pile of guts with supplies on top. Among these are a couple of Warped Chests, which debuff you and drop better items. It’s your choice when to open them, but we prefer to do this after we have finished blowing open the passageways.

With the Nursery, you will be opening those webbing-blocked passageways with explosives. Whatever ones you choose to do are up to you, but there are all kinds of things you can find inside. You will always be attacked by the Ridden inside when the entrance opens. Sometimes it can be common enemies, sometimes a horde of Mutated Ridden, or even boss enemies like The Hag and Ogre. Whatever comes out of there, be ready for a fight.

As you open up the cavern, be on the lookout for ammo, Copper, Skull Totems, and more loot. There will also be more explosives to allow you to keep opening the passageways. Eventually, one of the rooms will have a ladder that you and your team can leave through whenever you choose to.
