How to complete the Solna Plains puzzle near Anselm’s Vein in Edge of Eternity

Don't skip out on these puzzles.

Edge of Eternity’s optional puzzles offer up quite a few decent rewards. For players who don’t heavily level grind or farm for materials, these structures are a good way to gather materials and useful equipment without going out of your way, especially when following guides. This guide details how to get through one of those puzzles found throughout the game’s Solna Plains.

This place is just north of Anselm’s Vein, which you would have visited early in chapter two. Its exact location is denoted by the player arrow in the screenshot below.

This structure is similar to the one nearby Nekaroo Farm, utilizing only one character, relying mostly on the grated tiles that kill you if you remain in place longer than one turn. Just as with that guide, we’ll refer to Daryon throughout.

From the starting position, you have two options. Step on the grated tile furthest away from the light blue switch. Rather than heading to the purple switch immediately, you’ll need to take the long route. From the first grated tile, move to the next tile to Daryon’s right. Then, follow the next two tiles above him until you’re next to the purple switch after navigating over the single wall in place.

Have Daryon activate the purple switch. The two doors gating your progress to the light blue switch will now be lowered. The next few turns can actually be tackled in two slightly different ways. If you choose to step on the tile underneath the purple switch, you’ll have two options. Head to the tile closest to the original spawn point, then onto the light blue switch. The rest of the way through is linear, taking you back through the purple switch and onto the goal.

If you choose to take the tile next to the purple switch rather than the one underneath it, you can activate the light blue switch on your next turn. The path to the goal from here is longer than the previous route, but it’s still just as linear. Follow the tiles that haven’t been activated yet until you reach the room with the chests.

The chests include two celestian alloy, the WIldling Armband armor piece, and the Razor weapon, which are only equippable by Daryon.
