Destiny 2: Forsaken brings us a new Ascendant Challenge each week. In this guide, we will show you how to complete the Week 4 Ascendant Challenge. The bounty can be picked up from Petra in the Dreaming City and challenges you to achieve a specific task. To do this bounty, you will also need a Tincture of Queensfoil. If you don’t have any at the moment, consult our guide on how to get Tincture of Queensfoil.
Harbinger’s Seclude
This week’s challenge is located at the very far end of Harbinger’s Seclude at the northern end of Rheasilvia. Head all the way through the monastery and you’ll find the portal at the top of the statue at the end. There are platforms you can use to climb up to it on the right side of the bridge a few meters back from the statue.
Week 4 Ascendant Challenge
The challenge itself isn’t very complicated. You’ll enter the portal and proceed through a short jumping puzzle to a central temple with several enemies. Destroy them to leave behind only three named Knights and a relic sword. The Knights can only be damaged with this relic sword. When the sword is picked up, the first of the three Knights becomes active. All you have to do is kill it, which will trigger the other two Knights and allow you to kill them. It takes a lot of damage to kill them and they hit you hard. Additional enemies will continually spawn throughout the fight.
We’ve found it best to have two players focus on add-control while the sword bearer focuses on the Knights. The sword also has a super ability, so be sure to utilize that. Keep an eye on the timer, however, which will expire after 600 seconds. After that, the sword will despawn and you will be unable to complete the challenge.
After all three Knights are dead, follow the floating spark of Toland across more platforms to the chest. Some of these platforms will despawn, so stick together! Be sure to bring the sword with you to the chest or it will not show up. As with all Ascendant Challenges, if you die, you respawn outside the Ascendant Plane.
We’ve embedded a video with the fight by Esoterickk below.
