There are 17 Cyberpsychos to take out in Cyberpunk 2077, and they’re all over Night City, causing a mess of trouble. It’s your job to take them all out, and make sure they can’t cause any more problems. For the Where the Bodies Hit the Floor gig, you’ll be taking on Ellis Carter
Where to find Ellis Carter
The Where the Bodies Hit the Floor gig is available in Northside, on the western portion of the map.
How to defeat Ellis Carter
Ellis Carter is a brawler, so they’re going to want to rush right at you and fight you in close quarters combat. They have plenty of abilities giving them additional support like a combat stim, break hold, sandevistan mk.1, a charge jump, and kerenzikov, so they’re going to be bouncing around quite a bit when you fight them. Before the battle starts, Ellis is hidden, and you can find them by breaching any of the equipment around you, and then pinging their position. They reveal themselves to be hiding in the right corner of the area.
Once you have their location, you can choose how you want to engage them. They’re weak to electrical damage, so use any weapon that has that typing on them, or you can always use a short circuit quickhack to quickly stun them during the fight if you have enough ram for it. Ellis runs around quite a bit, so using a close-range weapon like a shotgun, a machine gun, or if you’re confident enough, a decent blade will put them down. After you’re finished, you need to search the area for some information.
Where to find the information
While the entire area where you can Ellis is highlighted to find the information, the exact shard you want to find is next to the dumpster where you first find them on the right side. Make your way over there next to the body, and pick it up.
You then need to go into your inventory to read the shard labeled “Archived Conversation: Brick and Ellis.” It will be at the bottom of the shard menu, underneath your journal tab.
Once you read it, send the information to Regina by sending her a text. You can do this by clicking down on the D-pad, and replying to her message for “Cyberpsycho Sighting: Where the Bodies Hit the Floor.” After that, the gig is finished.
