The Soma Prime offers improved magazine size, ammo reserves, and status chance than the standard Soma, while also offering a quicker spool up, hitting the maximum rate of fire faster. The Soma tends to offer newer players an assault-type rifle that they are comfortable with before exploring some of the game’s stranger weapons, and the Soma Prime improves on it in some important ways, making it an attractive option.
Soma Prime Relics
The critical thing about farming for Primes is knowing which relics to look for while playing the game. The following Relics contain the various components you need to build Soma Prime and the rarity of the component.
- Blueprint – Common – Neo N12
- Barrel – Common – Meso D5
- Receiver – Uncommon Lith K4
- Stock – Rare – Axi S7
Soma Prime Relic Farming
Farming these Prime Relics is quite different from farming for normal Prime Relics. Instead of being able to do any mission to get the relevant Relics, these can only be farmed in the Void. The relevant Void missions are as follows;
- Ani
- Aten
- Belenus
- Marduk
- Mithra
- Mot
- Oxomoco
- Ukko
You can also get these Relics are part of a Relic Pack from the different Syndicates, the Conclave, and the Relic Packs you can purchase from the in-game store. All you need to do is grind out some missions in the Void, and you should get plenty of them. Hepit is great for Lith Relics, Aten should get you Meso and Neo Relics, depending on the Rotation, and Mot should get you Axi Relics.
Finally, you can find the Relics by completing bounty missions on Orb Vallis and the Plains of Eidolon. You can get Orb Vallis bounties from Eudico at Fortuna, and Plains bounties from Konzu at Cetus.
There you go Tenno, now should have no problem farming those Soma Prime Relics. Best of luck.
