How to find out who is the rat in a Mafia family in BitLife

Not everyone is working together.

Someone has been talking about what happens behind your Mafia family’s closed doors in BitLife, and the police are being tipped off. You and your family can’t have that happen. It’s up to you to figure out who is leaking the information, and get rid of them, one way or another. Finding out who the rat is can be a little tricky, so you’ll want to be careful when attempting to accuse someone of being one.

There are some notable signs of someone being a rat in the family. Usually, not everyone in the family will like you when you first start, and they don’t want to talk to you. The rat will attempt to get close to you whenever possible and become increasingly friendly with you, even if you’ve just started. The easier it is to talk to someone in the Mafia without having a high ranking, the higher likelihood of them turning out to be the rat.

When you accuse someone of being the rat, they usually deny it and try to go against you. This person also has a chance of attempting to whack you before you can tell the rest of the family, which they typically try to do. We recommend having fairly high fighting skills or even taking up a black belt or two martial arts to defend yourself.

If you correctly find the family member who is a rat, the family will be eternally grateful for you, increasing your relationship with many of them.

Unfortunately, there’s a bit of luck and chance of finding the correct rat in the family. But the friendlier they are to you, and the more they want to hang out, the better chances you have of spotting them. So long as everyone is not so friendly, there shouldn’t be a rat there. If you’re waiting to find a rat, spend a few years in the Mafia, and watch all of their behavior to see if you notice distinct differences.
