How to find the Treasure of Britain in Grime’s Graves in East Anglia in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla

Into the depths.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There are valuable treasures all over England, and in Assassin’s Creed Valhalla, there will be rare opportunities to obtain them. The Treasures of Britain usually are hidden and force you to thoroughly investigate a location to locate it. There’s a treasure underground in Grime’s Graves, and it can be yours if you’re willing to find it. For those who were doing the Legend of Beowulf quest, you may have run across the location and will want to return to it to find the item.

The entrance to Grime’s Graves is to the southwest of Brisleah Farm, in East Anglia. There’s no ladder to the bottom, so you’ll need to jump down and land in a haystack.

When you’re inside, there will be three paths you can take. You want to choose the doorway immediately in front of you and progress through the cave. It will lead you to a large room with several snakes at the bottom. Jump across the open gap, and make it to the other side. Go through the door on the left.

Continue through the hallway, and there will be another large cave room with a snake or two at the bottom. The treasure is not in this room but further in, so ignore it and make your way through. You’ll go down a small ramp, with a room with a scroll that you can read about the Mother speaking to Grendel and how Grendel had been treated by others. This location is where the Legend of Beowulf quest ends, so several notes relate to it inside. Progress forward, and there will be a massive cave room in front of you. But if you go too far, you’ll slide down the ramp. If you time it correctly, you can jump to make it to the other side, but you might make it down to the bottom. Either method is acceptable. All you have to do is be on the second floor.

Make your way to the second floor, and stick to the left side of the room. This path contains several jumps you’ll need to make and parkour leaps, so it’s not a straight path. At the end of the room will be a pathway obscured by a black flag with a white rat face. Go through the room, and go through the next set of parkour jumps and leaps until you reach the other end. There will be a small table there, and if you use your Odin Sight, there will be an item you can loot.

Unfortunately, you can’t grab the item. It’s hidden. Use your Odin’s Sight to determine its location, and then break the vase surrounding it. Once you do that, you’ll be able to loot the item, and you’ll have gained the treasure of the Mysterious Hilt Tablet. It also provides you with a skill point.

When you’re ready to leave, look to the right of the table you looted, and there will be a bookcase you can interact with and move. Push it aside, and then will be a ladder through the hallway.
