How to focus Umbral Engrams with the Prismatic Recaster in Destiny 2

Focus on what you want.

In Destiny 2 Season of the Chosen, players can earn Umbral Emgrams by taking part in various activities throughout the game. As long as players have met the correct requirements, these Umbral Engrams can be focused to drop very specific rewards.

To focus Umbral Engrams, players will need to play through the following quests:

This will give them access to the Umbral Decoder, the Prismatic Recaster that will allow them to focus the Engrams. Focusing is broken up into three tiers, and each type of Engram at each of the three tiers will have a cost to be focused, and an unlock requirement. Those costs will be the Umbral Engram, a number of Legendary Shards, and a number of Hammer Charges.

To focus the Umbral Engram, interact with the Prismatic Recaster and select the Season of the Chosen tab. Select the type of Engram you wish to focus and ensure you have it unlocked, and have the appropriate resources to focus it. Hit the acquire button, and then go and decode it in the Umbral Decoder.
