First Person Perspective Was The "Right Choice" For Cyberpunk 2077

How to get higher tier tools in Grounded

The better quality tools, the more you get out of them.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

When you first start Grounded, you rely on collecting the resources you can find on the ground around you and picking them up to learn the basics. When you discover the field station, you can access an analyzer that you can use to place the resources you find on it. Doing this allows you to learn how to make new crafting recipes, increasing the quality of tools you can make to obtain even more resources. When you want to make higher tier tools, you need to collect even more dangerous resources, and you can do this by taking down the larger creatures in the game, such as the ants, ladybugs, cockroaches, and the spiders.

One of the first second-tier items you can encounter in Grounded is the ant club. Unfortunately, the ant club does not work on any of the resources you need to collect, such as the weed, but it does give you a good idea of what you need to do to obtain new resources. You want to take down on stronger bugs in the game, which means you need to gather up additional resources, make better weapons and armor to protect yourself, and then fight the fearsome bugs wandering around the game. Ants are a good choice, but they’re tough, and worker ants will work together to take you out.

A great way to take out a lot of the bigger creatures is to use ranged weapons, so you want to focus on crafting arrows and making those readily available. Hit them from a distance because fighting them close range is a huge risk, especially the spiders.
