Are you ready to ride the dusty trails with your friends? Red Dead Online is coming, and with it, a public beta. Arriving shortly after the game release on October 26, Red Dead Online’s public beta will be used to work out any problems the service will have.

How to Get Into the Red Dead Online Beta

The public beta for Red Dead Online will be available to everyone who purchases the game. At the moment, the game has only been announced for PS4 and Xbox One. It also comes in various versions, so if you are in the mood to show faith and pre-order the game, you will need to decide which version you want. The standard version will contain the base game, your access to the public beta, and Red Dead Online.

Pre-ordering the game will get you the War Horse, Outlaw Survival Kit, a cash bonus for the story mode, and GTA$500,000 for use in GTA Online.

The Special Edition comes with the Bank Robbery Mission and Gang Hideout in the story mode, Dappled Black Thoroughbred, Talisman and Medallion Gameplay Bonuses, and gameplay boosts, cash bonuses, and discounts.

The Ultimate Edition comes with everything from the Special Edition, as well as bonus outfits, rank bonuses, Black Chestnut Thoroughbred, the Survivor Camp Theme, and free access to weapons at the gunsmith.

Finally, the Collector’s Box is for people who like to mark games with a little something special. It comes with a lot of extra stuff, including a lot of real-world items. You can read more about it, and all the other versions of the game, at the Rockstar website. I would suggest following that link if you want any specific details on the various version of the game. It goes in-depth on precisely what each item is, and how it will affect you in game.

The Red Dead Online public beta will begin launch in November 2018, although an exact date has not yet been specified. It will be available on both PS4 and Xbox One. Time to saddle up, partner!
