You can find unique surprises in message bottles at the beach of your island.

These items usually are resting on the sand close to the water of your island’s beach. You want to walk across and pass it often to have the potential of locating them during your adventure. There’s no exact time or method to have one show up, so make sure to do it often, whenever you’re running around trying fish near the lake, or you’re checking out the Dodo airlines. One usually shows up once a day.

When you do find one, go over to it and grab it. You will find it in your inventory, and you will usually find something inside of it. The first thing you receive is a message, and it’s addressed to whoever picks it up, meaning you don’t have to feel bad for taking it from another person. The items vary for what’s inside of it, but many players are saying it’s how they were able to obtain the wooden full-length mirror.

There are other items and random objects in them you can find, so sweep by your beach every so often during a day until you recover one. Additionally, you can always grab any shells or miscellaneous objects you find on the beach to sell to Tommy or Timmy.
