How to get more Dynite Ore in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra

How much do you need?
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Dynite Ore is a new type of item you can receive by completing Dynamax Adventures in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s Crown Tundra expansion. It’s an item you want to earn a lot because you need it to capture the rare Pokémon hidden within the Dynamax Adventure. However, you can also use it to trade with the collector waiting inside the cave with the scientist. You can find them on the right side of the cave next to the Sableye. They have various items for sale but only accept Dynite Ore. How can you get more of it?

You want to participate in more Dynamax Adventures to earn them. You receive them following the end of any Dynamax Adventure you complete. This includes the ones you don’t successfully win, such as when you lose all four of your hearts at the top of the screen. Dynamax Adventures work similarly to the Dynamax Raids all trainers have been doing since the start of their Sword and Shield adventure. Once four Pokémon faint at any time during the adventure, everyone is ejected from it, and you have to start over.

Everyone receives Dynite Ore at the end of the adventure. There’s a breakdown at the end that details why you received the additional ore. You can expect to receive more by successfully reaching the end of the cave and capturing the Pokémon at the end. Once you have enough of it, take it back to the collector and see what you can buy. You may want to do several of them with your friends before cash them in for some of the higher quality choices.
