Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town

How to get more Inventory and Tool Pocket space in Story of Season: Friends of Mineral Town

Carry more, travel less.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

One of the earliest things you will want in Story of Seasons: Friends of Mineral Town is to increase the amount of space in your inventory and tool pocket. There is a lot to do in this game, and having to run back and forth to switch out what you are carrying is both annoying and a waste of time.

Thankfully, the number of items you can have in your inventory, and the number of tools you can carry at any one time are directly related in the game, and you can increase both of them the same way.

Story of Seasons

To do this, you will need to head to the General Store in the north of the town. Talk to the man behind the counter, and you will be able to purchase the Basic Bag, and after that, you will be able to buy the Big Bag. The Basic Bag will give you room for 16 items in your inventory, and 8 tools in your Tool Pocket. It will cost 5000 Gold, so it’s not something you can get right at the start of the game, unfortunately.

The Big Bag will give you room for 24 items in your Inventory, and up to 12 tools. This is really important, as it will allow you to get much deeper into mines when you are digging for ore and gems, and you will be able to carry lots of seeds without needing to give up many of the tools that you need to plant them.

When it comes to making life easier, these are priority purchases because they will save you time, which is the most important resource in the game.
