How To Get Nyx In Warframe

This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

In this guide, we will show you how to get Nyx in Warframe.

Nyx, the deceiver, controls the minds of her enemies to turn them against each other. Her abilities include mind control, which allows her to sow confusion among her enemies, causing them to attack each other. Psychic Bolts strip the defenses from enemies, increasing the damage they take. Chaos will cause her enemies to attack random foes around them. Finally, Absorb acts as a shield, taking in all damage fired at it, and sending it back to enemies is an explosion.

To acquire Nyx’s component blueprints, you need to farm Phorid, a boss only available during Infested Invasions. For Phorid to appear, the Infested Invasion must take over a specific node. It is reasonably common, but never guaranteed, making Nyx an awkward Warframe to get.

To check active Invasions, go to the Navigation screen, then the missions in the top right. The symbol of a fist lists all Invasions, and tell you if any of them are a Phorid Assassination mission.

When you kill Phorid and extract, you will get one of the component blueprints at the below percentage chance:

  • 38 percent
  • 38 percent
  • 22 percent

You can purchase the primary Nyx blueprint from the Market for 25,000 Credits. Once you have all the blueprints, you can build Nyx in your Foundry using the following resources:

Chassis

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Morphics
  • 100 Ferrite
  • 300 Rubedo

Neuroptics

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 150 Alloy Plate
  • 1 Neural Sensors
  • 150 Polymer Bundle
  • 500 Plastids

Systems

  • 15,000 Credits
  • 1 Control Module
  • 1 Morphics
  • 500 Salvage
  • 220 Plastids

Each component has a 12-hour build time, and you can build them all at the same time. Once constructed, you can use them in conjunction with the original Nyx blueprint to create the Warframe. Nyx has a three-day build time. You can bypass all build times by using Warframe’s premium currency, Platinum.

Make sure you have a spare Warframe slot available when you start the build.
