How to get party hat Pikachu, Eevee, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur in Pokémon Go

How to catch Pokémon with party hats
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

The Armored Mewtwo event has begun bringing with it clone Pokémon to Pokémon Go. You can find these Pokémon featured in four-star raids, and you can try to locate a clone of Pikachu by taking pictures of your Pokémon. Other Pokémon have come to the event, and you can now capture Pikachu, Eevee, Squirtle, Charmander, and Bulbasaur, who are wearing party hats.

There are different ways to capture these Pokémon. The party hat Pikachu and Eevee Pokémon are probably the easiest because you can find them by freely roaming the world, and you can see them wandering around your area. You should be able to see their party hats on their heads in the overworld, making it significantly easier. You have a chance for these to be a Shiny version of the Pokémon, too.

If you’re looking for the party hat Charmander, Squirtle, and Bulbasaur, you need to work for these a bit harder. You can find them in seven-kilometer eggs, which means you need to free up an incubator space to attempt to hatch them. Additionally, they should show up as one-star raids. You can tell the rating of a Pokémon raid by the number of symbols above it when you click on it from the overworld, and it should only have one icon. You can find these as their shiny version, too.

To acquire a seven-kilometer egg, you need to receive a gift from a friend on your friend list. Make sure to have your friends send as you many gifs as possible throughout the event, and send them gifts in exchange to give them a shot at attempting to hatch one with a party hat. The Armored Mewtwo event goes from Feb. 25 to March 2.
