They always require you to scour the environment for the specific items you need and use them in proper spaces to continue the game. After a bit of playing, Coop will return to his grandma’s house, where she will provide him with a few main quests. One of them is getting rid of a wasp nest above her garden. To do so, you need to find some items hidden around the house and use them to protect yourself from a rather dangerous situation adequately. Here is how to get rid of the wasps and complete the Wasp Woes quest.
To unlock the Wasp Woes quest, you first need to fix the printer for your grandma. When done, talk to her in the living room, and she will ask you to get rid of the wasp nest.
Before we go outside and mess with the wasps, we need to grab two items. The first are some matches that can be found on the table in the dining room to the right of the living room.
Next, go up to the attic where you fixed the printer. There is a yellow box of expired fireworks you need to pick up.
Now you need to go outside. If you are in the attic, you can go through the window; otherwise, just go out the back door in the kitchen. In the backyard is a grill. Place the fireworks on top of it.
Next, use the matches on the fireworks.
Now the wasps are being smoked out and will be less aggressive towards Coop. That being said, he still needs to protect his hands. To the right of the grill are some oven mitts. What they are doing outside in the grass, we don’t know, but regardless, pick them up.
Climb the ladder up to the hive and use the oven mitts on it. Coop will pick up the hive but drop it into the backyard below. The wasps will go off and attack the neighbor, so now they’re his problem. You can go inside and talk to your grandma and complete the Wasp Woes quest.
