How to get Rotom in Pokémon Go during Pokémon Go Fest 2020

A new Rotom form is available.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There are new Pokémon available in Pokémon Go during the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 event from July 25 to 26, and one of them is Rotom Wash. Rotom is a unique Pokémon because it can have several different forms. It can turn into a fridge, a heater, or a lawnmower. The Rotom Wash is the version that turns it into a washer. You can only do five snapshots of the Pokémon, and you have to wait for the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 event to start in your region, so it needs to be past 10 am on July 25 in your timezone.

The Rotom Wash form is a Water and Electric-type Pokémon. Like the other Rotom forms, it has a maximum CP of 2,579, an attack of 204, a defense of 219, and stamina of 137. This form will be available during the Pokémon Go Fest 2020 event, and to capture it, you need to catch it when taking a snapshot of one of your Pokémon. You can do this by viewing the Pokémon in your inventory, clicking on them to examine their profile, and then hitting the camera icon on the top-right. After you take the picture, you will see the Rotom Wash form jump into the picture.

When you see Rotom leap into the picture, return to the overworld and see them walking around you. From there, it’s similar to encountering any other Pokémon in the wild. Make sure you use berries to try and catch to increase your chances. It will likely only be available during the event from July 25 to 26.
