How to get the Apparition Iconic Pistol in Cyberpunk 2077

Ghostly.

One of the Iconic weapons in Cyberpunk 2077 is the Appartition. This is a mean pistol, snapping off three rounds each time you pull the trigger, but with enough recoil to keep you honest about aiming it.

The best thing about this weapon is that it steps up its game if you get hurt, doing more damage when your health is low. It is an impressive option, and one of the pistols that is worth upgrading as you level up in the game.

To get it, you may need to have been lucky with how you started. If you started as a Corpo, you may have spoken to a man called Frank at the very start of the game. Frank worked for Abernathy, you own boss’s direct rival, and you can have a brief conversation with him at the start of the game.

Much later in the game, you might get a call from him asking for you help. It turns out that Abernathy has turned on him, and killed him. The call to you is automatic, and sending you to a dead drop that will give you information to use against her.

This side quest, called “War Pigs”, is pretty easy. Just follow the waypoint to the location of the dead drop, then do what you need to do to get the dumpster out of the way. On the ground is a case, and when you open it you are in for a surprise, as it is empty.

Yup, good old Frank is not dead, and is now standing behind you. Frank’s plan is to shop you to Abernathy, and hopefully get back in her good graces. To solve this sticky social situation just shoot him in the head until he falls over, then loot the Appartition from his body.
