How to get the Carmine Penta in Warframe

It's here.

The Carmine Penta has made its way to the west after previously being an exclusive Warframe weapon in the China region. Getting it won’t be easy, as it is effectively locked away behind some grind, and some luck.

The first thing players will need to do is get access to the Railjack missions. This has been made easier in the 29.10.0 update, as players can now visit a Dry Dock on any relay and launch into missions from there, even if they do not have their own Dry Dock or Railjack.

In Corpus Railjack missions players can find Derelict Freightlinkers. They will appear in Corpus Railjack missions in Pluto Proxima and Veil Proxima. They will be marked on the screen by a white waypoint. If you go inside and follow the waypoint all the way to the end you will find a strange energy vault you can open, and this will potentially drop the Carmine Penta. You won’t know what the drop is until you get back out of the mission, however.

The drop rate appears to be quite low, as we have yet to get one over the course of 20 or so Derelicts. We will update the drop rate information as soon as we know more.

The Carmine Penta is a special Penta variant that fires explosive rounds, has a higher rate of fire, and double the magazine size of the standard Penta. It has a 10% critical chance, a 2x crit multiplier, and a 10% status chance for both the grenade impact and the explosion.

The explosive radius is 5.5 meters, and the weapon is extremely accurate, so doming enemies with the grenade is very easy to do.
