How to get the Chewy puppy minion in Final Fantasy XIV

The Chewy minion in Final Fantasy XIV is an adorable dog that will follow you around during your adventure. This loyal companion is one of the many minions you can add to your collection, and finding them can be a little complicated. A minion only drops in a specific location, and Chewy is no exception. In this guide, we cover how you can get the Chewy puppy minion in Final Fantasy XIV.

You can only obtain the Chewy minion if you send your Retainer out on Woodland Explorations, specifically the XXVIII. You’ll be able to access this by having the Endwalker expansion on your client. So long as you have that and you’ve reached level 90, you can send your Retainer out on these missions and wait for them to return. These missions take 18 hours to complete. When your Retainer returns, you’ll have to see if they brought back a Chewy puppy for you to have. However, you can’t always expect to receive this companion, so you’ll need to do this multiple times.

Alternatively, if you want to add Chewy to your collection, you can also chest your data center’s market board. There’s a chance someone on your data center has posted a Chewy, but the price for this minion will vary based on your data center.
