The process is straightforward. To get the Boogie Down emote, you have to enable 2FA on your Epic Games account. That’s the account you use to log into Fortnite with every day. You can see the dance in action in the embedded tweet above.

How to Enable Two-Factor Authentication

Two-Factor authentication, or 2FA for short, adds a layer of security to your Epic Games account by requesting a six-digit code to be entered during every login. This code can either come from an Authenticator App, such as Authy, or from your email. Each time you log in, you’ll be prompted for this code.

To enable 2FA on your Fortnite account, head to the Epic Games account page and follow the steps after clicking either the Enable Authenticator App or Enable Email Authentication. You can only configure one of the two options.

After enabling 2FA, the Boogie Down emote will show up in Fortnite the next time you log in.
