How to get the Hazmat suit costumes in Back 4 Blood

You need to protect yourself.

Customizing your favorite Cleaner in Back 4 Blood helps your version of them stand out from the basic look they have at the beginning of the game. It isn’t much, but we like the characters we are playing to look as good as possible, even with gallons of blood being sprayed on them in each Campaign level. Here is how you can equip the new Hazmat suit cosmetics in Back 4 Blood.

To unlock the new Hazmat suits, you will need to own the first expansion for the game, Tunnels of Terror. To get it, you can either purchase it separately for $15 at full price or own the Annual Pass, which gives you access to all three expansions in the first year of the game.

Once you have the expansion owned, open up the Cleaners tab in the main menu at the Fort Hope base. All Cleaners who debuted with the game’s launch have their own versions of the Hazmat suit, but newer characters do not (Heng and Sharice).

The Hazmat suits do not actually protect your character any more than any other skin in the game, just a cosmetic change that imagines which hazmat style each Cleaner would go for.
