For those who have been playing Fallout 76, it’s been an up and down journey. Bethesda has done its best to support its players since the game launched, and there have been plenty of hiccups along the way. Because some players have been there since the start, the developer wants to thank them by providing an exclusive outfit, the Veteran Outfit, also known as the Mountain Scout uniform.

The celebrate the release of the Wastelanders update, Bethesda made this outfit available. It’s only given to those who meet the requirement of having logged into the game since November 14, 2018, and before the release of the Wastelanders update. If you came to the game after this point, you would be unable to access this outfit, and you won’t be able to make it.

To obtain this outfit, you can craft it from the Armor Workbench if you logged in before the required date. You won’t need to do anything special to unlock it. It should automatically go to everyone’s account that meets the requirements. However, Bethesda warns gaining access to the Veteran Outfit could take a few days. They may need to slowly make it available to every account that meets these requirements. If you don’t immediately see it, you can expect to unlock it before the end of April, promised by Bethesda.

You may need to wait a good chunk of time before it becomes available. Once it is, crafting the Veteran’s Outfit should not cost too much, and it can serve as a great way for newcomers to see who has been playing the longest, knowing they’re available experts willing to lend a hand to those who are visiting the Wastelands for the first time.
