Roller Champions, Ubisoft’s upcoming free-to-play sports title, is ramping up towards release with a European closed beta. The limited-time event starts on February 17 at 5pm GMT (6pm CET), and some fans will be lucky enough to try it out and provide feedback to help the development team refine its gameplay ahead of launch.
If you’re interested in taking part, there are certain requirements you must meet to gain access to it potentially. The first, and most obvious, is that you must reside in a European country that will support the closed beta. You can see what nations and regions will have access below to see if you qualify:
- Andorra
- Austria
- Belgium
- Croatia
- Czech Republic
- Denmark
- Finland
- France
- Germany
- Greece
- Hungary
- Ireland
- Italy
- Luxembourg
- Monaco
- Netherlands
- Norway
- Poland
- Portugal
- Romania
- Slovakia
- Spain
- Sweden
- Switzerland
- United Kingdom
If you live in one of the above countries, you can register for the beta. PC, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One users can partake in the beta, but you will require a Ubisoft account. If you don’t have one, you can sign up for an account here. Be aware that spots are limited, so signing up for an account does not guarantee your place. Ubisoft+ PC subscribers will automatically get access to the beta.
Once the servers go live, you will receive a confirmation email if you have been selected. PC players can download Roller Champions in their Ubisoft Connect for PC game library, while console owners will have to redeem the beta code found in their confirmation email.
Successful PC applicants will also be able to invite two friends to join them in the beta. You can do this by selecting the friends you wish to invite from your Ubisoft Connect for PC friends list. They will have 48 hours to accept the invitation, and you can form a party before heading to the matchmaking screen.
