How to play Nuketown ’84 Zombies in Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War

Nuketown zombies is back... for a certain crowd.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

Whenever you mention a game in the Call of Duty: Black Ops series, Nuketown is one of the first things to come to people’s minds. The two run hand-in-hand together, and every entry has a variant of Nuketown. In Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, this remains true with the addition of Nuketown ’84, a new multiplayer map fashioned on the iconic nuke testing area.

With the addition of Nuketown comes a new Onslaught mode for Zombie fans as well. Are you having trouble finding it? The reason may disappoint you.

Where to find Onslaught mode on PC and Xbox?

Unfortunately, until November 2021, only Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War players on PlayStation 4 and PlayStation 5 will have access to Nuketown ’84 because of the Zombies Onslaught mode’s exclusivity deal with Sony. This means if you are playing on PC, Xbox Series X, or Xbox One, you will not have access to the mode or map until after the next Call of Duty game releases. Note: this exclusivity is only valid for the Zombies mode; the multiplayer map is available for all platforms the game is on.

How to access Onslaught mode?

If you are playing on PlayStation, you can access exclusive weapon blueprints for completing certain challenges within the Onslaught mode. To access Onslaught, on the Zombies menu, select Zombies Onslaught and then Onslaught Nuketown. You will begin searching for a lobby in the two-player mode.
