Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War endings

How to play on Rebirth Island in Call of Duty: Warzone

There's a new map everyone wants to play.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare and Call of Duty: Black Ops: Cold War have finally met, and bringing both flavors of their games to Call of Duty: Warzone. The free-to-play battle royale will have elements of both, and as the seasons continue for the next year or so, players can expect more Cold War weapons, gear, and operators to make their way over, much as Call of Duty: Modern Warfare’s had since Warzone launched. A bit of a hitch right now is whenever players blindly pick to play a Warzone game, and they get stuck with Verdansk, the original map of the game, and not the new one, Rebirth Island.

For those looking to jump into Rebirth Island and give it a try, you have to pick the Resurgence Trios option. It’ll be the bottom choice when you choose from the playlist. If you pick from the battle royale or plunder option, you’ll continue to play on Verdansk. It’s likely the Rebirth Island option is over here to promote it, along with a new way to play the game.

Hopefully, players won’t have to choose a single-mode to play on an island in the future. However, it might be Warzone does in the future to ensure players can pick a specific island to play on. The downside with this is that players have to throw themselves focusing on playing a specific mode, rather than the traditional battle royale option.

Player feedback regarding this choice will be critical, so if the players really don’t like how this works, the developers may change this.
