The return of Pokémon Mystery Dungeon: Rescue Team DX has arrived. You and your team have to go and venture into dangerous locations, helping out Pokémon in distress. It’s tricky business, and you need to build up your team to take on the toughest challenges. You have the opportunity to invite notable legendaries to your squad, such as Zapdos, Moltres, and Articuno, the legendary birds.

These legendary Pokémon will not merely join your team. To have them join your squad, you first need to complete the main game and proceed through the entire story. After that, you need to take them on in their territory, clearing all of the floors to reach them. When you reach them, to prove you’re worthy, you must defeat them in combat and prevail. You will find all are at level 45.

However, even if you defeat them, you only have a small chance of them asking you to join your team. If you do, you can freely use them in future dungeons. But if they don’t, all you have to do is repeat the dungeon to try to go after them again. You need to do this over and over again until they ask to join your team.

Don’t distress too much if it takes you a long time. These are legendary Pokémon. Make sure to train and prepare to take them on because it will not prove an easy task.
