Don't let those Points go to waste.

Valorant is capturing players’ attention in a way that few multiplayer games do, rocketing up the top Twitch stream charts and making closed beta keys a coveted commodity among fans. Its blend of hardcore CS: GO-stye tactical shooter with hero mechanics has players eager to try out each of the Valorant’s agents to find one that fits their preferred playstyle. Along the way, though, players may find themselves unlocking agents or other content that they don’t particularly like. Fortunately for them, Riot Games has a clear refund policy for players looking to exchange their unwanted unlocks for something more to their liking.

According to Riot, Valorant players can get refunds for weapon skins, contracts, or anything else they’ve purchased using either Valorant Points or Radianite Points. If you receive a refund, you’ll get back whichever currency you used to buy the original item. Cash refunds are also available if you used real money to purchase Valorant Points then decided not to use them.

Getting a refund for Valorant items is easy, but there are some restrictions. For any refundable item in Valorant, you can request a refund within seven days after purchasing it, provided that the content is unused. The window to get refunded for your unused Valorant Points is even longer, giving you 90 days to request a refund.

Riot has set up a support page for requesting a Valorant Point or Radianite Point refund. To request a refund, you can log-in through the refund support page to be taken straight to your Purchase History section. There, you’ll see a list of your purchases and whether they’re eligible for a refund. If they’re eligible, you can request your refund right from the Purchase History page. If an item that you want to refund isn’t showing up, you can submit a ticket to the Valorant support site and see if it’s still possible to get your refund. Cash refunds for Valorant Points also require you to submit a support ticket rather than going through your Purchase History page.
