How to sleep and pass the time in Bugsnax

Nap time.
This article is over 4 years old and may contain outdated information

There are plenty of quests to complete in Bugsnax, and some of them can only be done at certain times in the day. You may be wondering if you need to stand around waiting, or if you can skip time, and the answer is that yes, you can skip time.

In Snaxburg, you will be able to see your crashed airship on the top of a small hill. Walk up to it and jump onto the deck. To your left, you will find a bed. Interact with it and you will get the option to sleep until a certain time of the day.

Pick the option that suits you the most, and will be closest to the time you need to complete your mission. If your mission has a broad window, make sure you are waking up before the window begins, as it can be hard to know exactly when the mission will start. A good example of this is when you need to find out things for Beffica.

You should also consider that unless your mission happens in Snaxburg, you will need time to get to the area you need to be in to do it. You don’t want to miss the mission and have to do it all again the next day.

Another reason why being able to sleep and skip time in the game is useful is that each area will contain some Bugsnax that only appear at a certain time of the day. If you need to catch them for any reason, you can simple sleep until night time, or the day time, then go track them down.
