How to start the secret Hawkmoon Re-Roll quest in Destiny 2

The new quest to get rerolls of the Hawkmoon has finally arrived in Destiny 2. It has landed without fanfare and no real clues that you can do it. In this guide, we will show you how to start the mission.

The first thing you need to do is head to the Crow on the Tangled Shore. You can find him in the Spider’s Lair, in his little room to the left of the where the Spider holds court. Go in and talk to him, and he will have a new Exotic mission at the bottom of his inventory. There is no marker on the map for this, and nothing to let you know it has begun, but the mission will be there.

After that, you need to head to the EDZ. Spawn in at Trostland and make your way to the right, across the front of the church, and in the door front of the broken building on the far side. If you look at the second floor you will see a golden bird perched on a broken beam. This gives you a good indicator of where you need to go.

Head inside and go to the floor just below the bird. Head to the right and you will see a small fireplace in the wall on the left. You need to shoot this with a Hawkmoon to remove it, revealing a small tunnel. Crawl into it and you will have the option to start a new mission.

This mission, when completed, will net you a new Hawkmoon with random rolls. It is very difficult, and you will more than likely need some friends to help to complete it, so make sure you get a Fireteam together before you try.
