There are all sorts of weapons to use in Days Gone. Primary, Secondary and Special weapons of different types will help you get through the world without getting shot, or eaten by a Freaker, but how do you store them?

How To Store Weapons In Days Gone

Very early in Days Gone you will find your Gun Locker. It should have a pistol in it in the early hours of the game, and if you pre-ordered the game, it should also contain your special Drifter Crossbow. When you are out in the world, you can find all sorts of weapons, but the bad news here is that you cannot store these weapons in your gun locker. You can use them while you are out in the world, and keep them on your person, but you can’t store them.

The only way to store a weapon in your gun locker is actually to buy it from a merchant. Head to the gun merchant in any of the camps and browse their wares. The items you can buy will depend on your level of Trust with that particular camp. Once you purchase a weapon, it will automatically be in your locker. This means you can always get that weapon back, even if you drop it when out on a mission.

It is a good idea to pay attention to the different weapons you end up using when you are out on missions, then buy the ones you like from the merchant. Also, if you want to get your hands on some great weapons, then make sure you give the drug stash to Tucker because they have some great weapons for sale in their camp.
