How to unlock Mentor Roulette in Final Fantasy XIV

Mentor Roulette is a challenging way for max-level players to earn tomestones and other rewards while helping newer players.

When you queue for Mentor Roulette, you can be placed into nearly any instanced content with the exception of the Coils of Bahamut and Savage Raids. The queue automatically adds you to whatever queued group has waited the longest for someone of your class.

Mentor Roulette Rewards

Completing a Mentor Roulette awards 30 tomestones of Phantasmagoria and 10 tomestones of Allegory on top of any rewards offered by the instance you complete.

Completing multiple Mentor Roulettes earns you achievements, titles, and glamour. The most prized reward is the 2-seater Astrope mount, which you earn after completing 2,000 Mentor Roulettes.

Mentor Roulette Requirements (as of Patch 5.2)

You’ll need to fulfill two requirements to unlock Mentor Roulette:

• You must be a PvE Mentor. Crafting/Gathering Mentors and PvP mentors cannot access Mentor Roulette.
• You must have completed every dungeon, trial, guildhest, and raid that appears in Mentor Roulette.
