Little Nightmares II’s Fair Prey secret achievement is one of many missable ones in the horror adventure game. As an achievement, it is only worth 15 gamerscore — or a bronze trophy if you’re playing on PlayStation — but you will need to unlock it to attain 100% completion of Tarsier Studios’ latest title. If you’re unsure about what you must do to get it, allow us to help.
You can unlock the Fair Prey achievement in chapter one, which is the wilderness section. Once you have entered the Hunter’s home, leave the kitchen to enter the hallway. Walk towards the screen and head into the room on Mono’s right. Grab the furskin hat on the rug. Bring up the pause menu, scroll down to the Hats section, and switch Mono’s paper bag hat for the furskin one. Exit the menu to ensure that Mono is wearing this hat.
Now, play through the rest of chapter one wearing the furskin hat. The final act of this level, where you get chased by the Hunter, sees Mono and Six kill it with a shotgun that you find in a hut. Once the Hunter has been shot and the duo recover from the blast, the achievement or trophy should unlock. It will pop up with the tagline “It’s not murder if they’re bad people… is it?” so if you see this, you have unlocked it.
If you missed this achievement or trophy during your first playthrough, don’t worry. You can use the Chapter Selection option from the main menu to reload the wilderness level and grab it.
